"Fruit Bowl" was designed by London-based artist Sophie Deller for Slowdown Studio. Sophie works across illustration, paint, textiles, and ceramics, guided by intuition and a process that lets colour and shape lead the way. This piece grew from her habit of sketching fruit bowls of all shapes and sizes, drawn to how the forms and colours played off each other through repetition. Eventually she settled on one big bowl and filled it in. Read our interview with Sophie here.
